Hi Bozo, I look just like that when I hear fireworks. Sometimes I try to sit on my daddy's lap when I'm scared by fireworks or thunder storms. Luv, Lindy

Aw Bozo, we are sorry the fireworks are bothering you. We don't like them either. When we hear them we find a corner, or mommy's lap, to hid until it's over.
Bozo, we know how you feel. As cats we have very sensitive ears and natures and run for cover at the sound of a vehicle arriving in the lane. Fortunately fireworks are not allowed on the camp or anywhere in the valley so we're safe here in Kenya. I know that my mom worries about our cousin cats and dogs in South Africa who'll be all alone when it's Guy Fawks next Saturday. Have a peaceful Sunday and soft purrs from the three Hedges cats: Ginger, Shadow and Ambrose

Yes, Bozo, we don't like firecrackers and fireworks too!
ReplyDeleteI lie
ReplyDeleteon the cool floor
on tenterhooks and wonder.
First
the thunder evenings
at the monsoon end
that
make me shiver.
And then
this manmade
Sound and Light show,
with more sound than light
at Diwali,
as I
squeeze
under the bed
to damp the noise
and the sudden glare.
And to think,
that in this
modern day and age
you can buy silence in Courts,
and get away with it
but
no amount of money
can buy silence
in the city.
A city,
crumbling
under the overload
of concrete, ambition,
money,lies and shame.
I guess most ruins
have Sound and Light shows.
Figures.
Oh poor boso!
